New research coming out shortly

Two research articles related to urban food accessibility have just been accepted for publication by the journals Health and Place and the Journal of Applied Geography.

The former is concerned with deriving a time-space metric for measuring access to supermarkets in Cincinnati, while the latter uses agent-based models to test the effectiveness of various policies designed to increase the consumption of healthy foods by low-income households in Buffalo.

I’m currently at the transportation review board conference in DC to present the time-space research. I’ll post more on each of these after I return.
